The Challenges

It’s critical to understand the profoundly complex challenges to transition to carbon neutral by 2050.
Most companies today are transitioning from oil and coal to natural gas since it has less emissions.  The bad news is 30%++ of the worlds emissions comes from natural gas. At best natural gas is a stop gap solution.
There are 2 reasons why companies are using gas rather than transitioning straight to hydrogen. 
1. There have been literally trillions of dollars invested in the gas infrastructure, supply chains and millions of jobs, globally.  The infrastructure is in place and as such transition has very little impact. 
2. There is not yet enough hydrogen being produced. And the solutions today either have CO2e or are very energy hungry and costly to produce.
